    How this comparator works

This comparator places your salary and your savings rate against the Spanish average, using official data. For salary it uses the INE's EPA wage deciles, which group workers by income and age band, so you can see your percentile compared with people your age. For savings it compares what you save with the average household savings rate published by the INE and the Bank of Spain.

How much do people earn and save on average in Spain?

Salaries vary a lot by age, sector and region, which is why the comparator places you by age band instead of giving a single figure. As for savings, the average Spanish household rate is around 12.0% of disposable income in 2025 (INE / Bank of Spain): if you save above that, you are doing better than average.

    Why it matters

Comparing yourself to the average is a good starting point, but what matters is improving your own numbers: raising your savings rate, controlling your spending and setting goals. That is exactly what the Inveriok app does with your real data.
